The security and safety of the children at the nursery is paramount at Alpha Bears. We take all necessary steps to ensure they are always protected, cared for and supervised.
Staff Ratios
We maintain a high ratio of staff to children to ensure they are always properly supervised and cared for.
1 year olds: 1 member of staff to 3 babies.
2-3 years: 1 member of staff to 4 children.
3+ years: 1 member of staff to 8 children.
Security Measures
- We have a CCTV system monitoring both the inside and the outside of the building 24 hours a day.
- There are two security doors to enter the building.
- The main entrance has a camera intercom system.
- A modern smoke and fire alarm system is fitted throughout.
- We operate a visitors signing in and out book.
- In cases where a child needs to be collected by a person other than their known carers, prior notice is required and a password system is used.
