At our nursery, we are committed to providing an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. We work closely with families and other professionals to ensure that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the appropriate support to thrive.
Our Nursery SENCOs are:
• Elena Karsa
• Emily Tyler
Our SENCOs work alongside staff and families to identify children’s individual needs, coordinate support, monitor progress, and liaise with external agencies where appropriate.
Our nursery follows a comprehensive SEND Policy, which outlines how we identify, assess, and support children with additional needs in line with the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
A copy of our SEND Policy is available upon request from the nursery office. We encourage parents and carers to read the policy to learn more about our inclusive approach and the support we provide.
We believe that strong partnerships with parents and carers are essential to achieving the best outcomes for every child, and we welcome open communication throughout your child’s nursery journey.
If you would like to discuss your child’s development, have any questions about SEND provision, or require further information, please contact the nursery. Our team will be happy to arrange a meeting with one of our SENCOs to discuss how we can support your child.
